The course for the Individual Time Trial and Road Race is a challenging 11.38km loop, see 2010 UCI Para-cycling World Championships Course A video preview of the course can be viewed at Video 2010 UCI Para-cycling World Championships Course The distance each classification will race is in the Race Schedule
Riders are grouped by classification. The UCI Para-cycling classification Guide explains it all. It’s a weighty subject, well worth a look for a greater understanding of the various classification groups. I am yet to be classified at the international level, I have been racing domestically (Australia) as a H3. The H3 race distance, 2 laps for the Time Trial and 4 laps for the Road Race. Each lap has an exciting climb to it.
